Here's the problem : on that computer with Linux Mint, I installed another table by Wacom, the "One" tablet. 'I too had problems after installing Wacom tablet 4.72-3 on a production Power Mac 9500 with a G4 processor upgrade running Mac OS 9.1. At least, it was useful as a test to check that wacom driver is installed on my Linux Mint computer. But I use this tablet on another computer, with proprietary OS and software. I use Linux Mint 18.1 and it seems to work fine with my old Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, although no graphics tablet option appears in the control center hardware section (but I guess I can setup details with the command line, and finding some documentation about xsetwacom).
